Wilma Mae Blythe Farris, 92, of Blanchester, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024. Her husband, Harold Farris, preceded her in death February 21, 2018. They were married in August of 1949. She was born November 29, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Ernest Blythe and Nettie Peck Blythe.
Mrs. Farris was a member of the Full Gospel Christian Assembly in Blanchester. She loved babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wilma is survived by four daughters, Cindy Howar of Fairborn, Ohio, Carol (Paul) Artz of Huber Heights, Ohio, Brenda Alvarez of Blanchester, Ohio, and Sandra Farris of Blanchester, Ohio; two brothers, Michael Blythe of Troy, Ohio and Daniel (Vian) Blythe of Tipp City, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Harold Clay Farris Jr.; four brothers; and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Friday, March 29, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 Noon, Friday. The burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery.
