BETTY FIFE

Elizabeth Snowden Lukens Fife, 93, of Milford, Ohio (formerly of Wilmington, Ohio) died 8:20 AM, Monday, July 18, 2011 at Clermont Nursing Center, Milford, Ohio. Her husband, D M Fife, preceded her in death April 24, 1990. Mrs. Fife was born July 12, 1918 in Clinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Don Carlos Lukens and Sara Linton Snowden Lukens. She was a 1936 graduate of Wilmington High School. She was a member of the Wilmington Friends Meeting and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Fife is survived by a daughter, Phyllis (Raymond) Mizak of Chandler, Arizona; a son, David Mack Fife of Wilmington, Ohio; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, a brother, Harold Lukens, and three sisters, Helen L. Wright, Virginia Baker, and Rachael Mary Bernard, are preceded in death. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in New Antioch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Wilmington Friends Meeting, 66 N. Mulberry Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
