Carol Ann Wooddell, 77, of Hillsboro (formerly of Blanchester) passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Salyer Adult Home, Hillsboro, Ohio surrounded by her family. Her husband, Roy W. Wooddell, preceded her in death April 27, 2012. They were married October 19, 1957. Mrs. Wooddell was born June 10, 1940 in New Vienna, Ohio, daughter of the late Stanley and Mara Anderson Morris.
Mrs. Wooddell believed in the Ten Commandments and did her best to live by them. She always thought of others before herself. God blessed her with a wonderful family and numerous talents. She took pleasure in cooking and baking and was very good at it. Her passion was sewing and making doll clothing. She enjoyed animals and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Wayne (Connie) Wooddell of Martinsville, Ohio and Daren Lee (Tamara) Wooddell of Blanchester, Ohio; a daughter, Tamara (Jim) Frazier of Blanchester, Ohio; five grandchildren, Renea Wooddell, Brian (Rachel) Wooddell, Eric (Margaret) Wooddell, Brooke (Willie) Murphy, and Zach Frazier; and three great grandchildren, Rowan, Addilyn, and Huxley. In addition to her husband and parents, four brothers, Jack Morris, Jim Morris, Charles Morris, and Wayne Morris, and three sisters, Eleanor Holaday, Jean Marcum, and Donna Newman, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor Mike Brown officiating. Interment will be in Clinton County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
