HAROLD FARRIS Obituary

Harold Farris, 91, of Blanchester, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. His wife, Wilma Blythe Farris, survives. They were married August 1949. Mr. Farris was born February 21, 1927 in Florida, son of the late Harlan and Corda Wages Farris. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Farris had worked at Leland Electric in Dayton and eventually retired from the Huber Heights Road Dept. He was a member of the Full Gospel Christian Assembly in Blanchester. In addition to his wife, Mr. Farris is survived by four daughters, Cindy Howar of Fairborn, Ohio, Carol (Paul) Artz of Huber Heights, Ohio, Brenda Alvarez of Blanchester, Ohio, and Sandy Farris of Blanchester, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, a son, Harold Clay Farris Jr., is preceded in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
