JACQUELINE RICE

Jacqueline Rice, 79, of New Vienna, Ohio died 12:16 AM, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at her residence. Her husband, Elden E. Rice, survives. They were married August 29, 1975. Mrs. Rice was born February 27, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky, daughter of the late Samuel and Claudia McKenzie. She was a graduate of Kiser High School in Dayton. Mrs. Rice retired in 1996 after 30 years at General Motors. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rice is survived by a daughter, Donna Jackson of Union, Ohio; a sister, Betty Jo McKenzie of New Vienna, Ohio; a granddaughter, Jennifer Jackson; five great grandchildren, Alyssa, Jayden, Peyton, Carson, and A.C.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, a brother, Billie McKenzie, and a grandson, Scott Jackson, are preceded in death. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home, 64 S. South St., New Vienna, Ohio. Burial will be in New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the L.
