June Elizabeth Worley, 75, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away 11:25 AM, Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Residence. She was born June 22, 1938 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Lillian Houseman Brakeall. She retired from Wilmington College where she worked as the lead cook for over 20 years. Most importantly though, she was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Tanya LaMarr of Wilmington, Ohio; a son, Marty Hayslip of Wilmington, Ohio; a brother, Marvin (Vera) Jones of Fayette County, Ohio; a sister, Etta Mae “Susie” Sholler of Blanchester, Ohio; two granddaughters, Jody (Jason) Mangan and Melissa (Mike) Goodall; and four great grandchildren, Summer Mangan, Jordan Mangan, Alisha Goodall, and Seth Goodall. In addition to her parents, two sisters, Mary Kiser and Helen Waggoner, are preceded in death.
Friends may call from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. According to her wishes, Ms. Worley will be cremated following the visitation.
