KATE EARLEY

Kate Earley, 39, of Pickerington, Ohio (formerly of Clarksville, Ohio) died 8:32 AM, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East, Columbus, Ohio. She was born November 13, 1976 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Don and Nan Muchmore of Clarksville, Ohio. She was a 1995 graduate of Little Miami High School. She received a bachelor's degree in fire science engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Since August 2011, Ms. Earley had been employed by the West Licking Joint Fire District in Pataskala, Ohio where she served as the fire prevention officer / community resource coordinator. She was a member of the I.A.F.F. Local 3025. She had served with the Wilmington Fire Department from September 1999 until August 2011. She represented Ohio at various NFPA conferences and seminars. She was the immediate past president of the COFPA. She was currently serving as the secretary the OFOA. She served on the active committee with International Code Committee. She was an instructor for the BWC EMS committee. She also taught for the State of Ohio Fire Marshall's Office. She was passionate about teaching laypersons CPR, striving to increase survivability in the West Licking Fire District. In addition to her parents, Ms. Earley is survived by two daughters, Arabella Earley and Abigail Earley; a sister, Rebekah Muchmore of Wilmington, Ohio; her grandmother, Mary Jane Riehle of Blanchester, Ohio; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Isaac Robert Muchmore, and her grandparents, Charles and Mae Muchmore, and Robert Riehle. Friends may call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Watkins Memorial High School Gymnasium, 8868 Watkins Road, Pataskala, Ohio. There will be a service at 8:00 PM, Monday evening following the visitation. Friends may also call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Robert's Convention Center, 123 Gano Road, Wilmington, Ohio The funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Robert's Convention Center, 123 Gano Road, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Earley CPR Fund, 851 E. Broad St., Pataskala, OH 43062 or donations for Kate's children, can be made payable to Local 3025, P.O. Box 205, Pataskala, Ohio 43062 (please mark these funds "Earley Girls" in the memo).
