LINDA MASSARA

Linda Shedlock Massara, 63, of Wilmington, Ohio died 7:46 AM, Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Tony Massara, survives. They were married September 1, 1973. She was born October 20, 1951 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Emil and Mary Mayernik Shedlock. She was a 1969 graduate of Father Wehrle High School in Columbus. Mrs. Massara was currently employed by Emsar in Wilmington. She formerly worked at Irwin/American Tool. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church and was the former director of the American Cancer Society for Clinton County. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Massara is survived by a daughter, Angela (Mike) Mulcahy of Wyoming, Ohio; a son, Benjie (Steff) Massara of Wadsworth, Ohio; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Bob (Linda) Shedlock of Towson, Maryland, Tom (Sheryl) Shedlock of Dublin, Ohio, and Vickey Shedlock of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Maryann (Jim) Grundy of Pickerington, Ohio and Lorraine (Ryan) Sapp of Gahanna, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Colin Mulcahy, Sofia Massara, and Dominic Massara. In addition to her parents, a brother, Emil Shedlock Jr., is preceded in death. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Friday, May 29, 2015 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 N. Mulberry Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Michael Holloran officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.
