Lowell “Tom” Snyder, 73, of Wilmington, Ohio died 5:20 AM, Thursday, September 15, 2011 at his residence after a lengthy illness. His wife of 31 years, Sally Snyder, survives. Mr. Snyder was born June 22, 1938, in Pike County, Ohio, son of the late Thomas Snyder and Virginia Freshour Snyder. He was a retired supervisor at Crysteco Corporation in Wilmington. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Snyder was a member of American Legion Post 49, of which he had been a finance officer, trustee, and member of the memorial squad.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Snyder is survived by a son, Michael Wayne Snyder; a stepson, Michael (Chastity) Ross; a stepdaughter, Rachael (Greg) Vincent; a brother, Mack Snyder of Xenia, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, a brother, Jerry Sndyer, is preceded in death.
