Mary Drake, 91, of Wilmington, Ohio died 6:43 PM, Friday, December 13, 2013 at Quaker Heights Care Community, Waynesville. Her husband, Robert Drake, preceded her in death. Mrs. Drake was born March 10, 1922 in West Virgina, daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Kirk Fiorentino. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church. She was an excellent cook and made outstanding spaghetti. She was also known for her "green thumb" when raising plants and flowers. Mrs. Drake is survived by eight sons, Robert (Brenda) Drake, David (Sandra) Drake, Thomas (Debby) Drake, James (Donna) Drake, Steven Drake, Daniel (Cindy) Drake, Patrick (Bonnie) Drake, and Timothy (Jennifer) Drake; three daughters, Julie (Ken) Watkins, Rebecca (John) Lephart, and Marianne Romohr; 29 grandchildren, Robert (Kim) Drake, Michelle Montgomery, Scott (Nicole) Drake, Holly (Shane) Louderback, Jody (Lori) Drake, Justin Drake, Amanda (Chris) Harrison, Matt (Lindsay) Drake, April Cross, Joe (Carrie) Kiser, Steven Drake, Teresa Hamm, Ben Fist, Christy Drake, Erik (Shaylene) Watkins, Brian (Chasity) Watkins, Kenneth (Cecilia) Watkins, Michael (Amy) Drake, Heather (Nigel) Barber, Ryan Lephart, Shaun Lephart, Timmy Drake, Allison Drake, Ralston Drake, Jonathan Sandlin, Candace Johnson, Nicole Gregory, Samantha Romohr, and Marky Romohr; 39 great grandchildren; and 13 nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, three brothers, Michael Fiorentino, John Fiorentino, and an infant brother, and a sister, Josephine Dilard, are preceded in death. The family would like to thank Quaker Heights Nursing Home in Waynesville and Crossroads Hospice in Dayton for the excellent care Mrs. Drake received. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 N. Mulberry Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Michael J. Holloran officiating. Burial will be in New Burlington Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
