MAUDIE OSBORN Obituary

Maudie Osborn, 95, of Midland, Ohio died 5:54 AM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Continental Manor Nursing Home, Blanchester, Ohio. Her husband of 66 years, Sam O. Osborn, preceded her in death September 23, 2002. They were married June 20, 1936. Mrs. Osborn was born October 2, 1916 in Red Lick, Kentucky, daughter of the late Erasmus and Frances Riley Bingham. For many years she attended and was an active member of the Westboro United Methodist Church. Both her faith and perseverance served her well as a loving wife, mother, housekeeper, farmer, and neighbor. She lived her Christian calling as a very loving, caring, and generous person. Mrs. Osborn is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Ryan of McDonough, Georgia; three sons, Michael (Margie) Osborn of Milford, Ohio, Jerry (Carol) Osborn of Marshallville, Ohio, and Robert (Violet) Osborn of Midland, Ohio; a sister, Flossie Osborn of Waynesville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, a brother, Ernest Bingham; four sisters, Ruby Bingham, Provie Cornn, Lily Tackett, and Fannie Comley; and her stepmother, Nancy Wilson Bingham; are preceded in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Frank Kampel officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Waynesville, Ohio. Friends may call from 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Westboro United Methodist Church, 110 Jonesboro Road, Midland, Ohio 45148.
