Michael D. Stansbery, 43, of Wilmington, Ohio found peace Saturday, March 25, 2017. Mr. Stansbery was born May 30, 1973 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of Sharon K. Jones of Wilmington, Ohio and the late David Keith Stansbery. He was a 1991 graduate of Wilmington High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War.
A dedicated hard worker, Mr. Stansbery was a maintenance engineer for Mitsubishi Electric. He loved sports and cars. He was an avid Reds and Bengals fan. Though he endured many struggles, he had a compassionate heart and touched the lives of many.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Stansbery is survived by his four children, Shaina Brinkel, Garrett Stansbery, Alexis Stansbery, and Myka Stansbery; a brother, Rusty Stansbery; two sisters, Suzette (Chris) Ackley and Monique (Jason) Bellamy; three granddaughters and a grandson that is due later in the year; and his grandmother, Francanna DeVelvis. In addition to his father, his maternal grandmother, Marianna Jones, and his very best friend, Kyle Curran, are preceded in death.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held 6:30 PM, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church, 421 E. Vine Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Friends may call from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church.
