Paul L. Tolliver, 77, of Wilmington, Ohio died 5:45 AM, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at his residence. His wife, Betty Jo Duncanson Tolliver, whom he married October 25, 1978, survives. Mr. Tolliver was born October 24, 1934 in Clinton County, Ohio, son of the late Ulis and Mary Smith Tolliver. He was a graduate of Port William High School.
Mr. Tolliver worked for the Dayton Power & Light Company until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wilmington and the B.P.O. Elks 797.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Tolliver is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Art) Reiber of Jamestown, Ohio and Lori (Randall) Holberg of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Natalie Reiber, Michelle Reiber, and Chelsea Holberg; two stepsons, Douglas (Becky) Phillips of Lansing, Michigan and Gary Phillips of Hillsboro, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Karen Lester of Loveland, Ohio; three step-grandchildren, Bradley McCann, Craig (Melissa) McCann, and Matthew Lester; four step-great grandchildren; two sisters, Velma (John) Watson of Sabina, Ohio and Ruth (Robert) Curtis of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Tolliver of Wilmington, Ohio; as well as many special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a brother, Jack Tolliver, and a stepson-in-law, James Lester, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Wilmington, 79 E. Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Noah Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.
