RUTH IRWIN Obituary

Ruth Irwin, 89, of New Vienna, Ohio died 3:15 PM, Friday, February 11, 2011 at her residence. Her husband, Estel Irwin, preceded her in death August 28, 1985. They were married March 29, 1946. Mrs. Irwin was born September 6, 1921 in Clermont County, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell and Mary Fawley Little. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. Mrs. Irwin had worked at Wells Manufacturing. She had also worked for at the Hillsboro Pants Factory. She was a member of the New Vienna Church of Christ, where she was a former youth leader and Sunday school teacher at the church, and a member of the New Vienna Senior Citizens. Mrs. Irwin is survived by a brother-in-law, Loyd "Bud" Fenner of New Vienna, Ohio; a special niece, Debbie (Randy) Hull of New Vienna, Ohio; a special nephew, Gregg (Terri) Fenner of New Vienna, Ohio; additional nieces and nephews, Rusty (Molly) Fenner of Virginia, Carol Getter of Huber Heights, Ohio, Judy Martin of Kentucky, Barb (Dave) Holilngsworth of Nevada, and Ruth (Kenny) Lacy of Huber Heights, Ohio; a special great niece, Tricia Hull; two special great nephews, Noah Fenner and Jonah Fenner; additional great nieces and great nephews; several great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and her special friends and caregivers, Jane Luman and Norma Gibbs. In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers, Ralph Little and Paul Little, three sisters, Erma Irwin, Imogene "Jean" Fenner, and Charma Little, a brother-in-law, Clyde Irwin, a sister-in-law, Martha Little, and a nephew, Kenny Irwin, are preceded in death. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, February 18, 2011 at the New Vienna Church of Christ, 148 West Street, New Vienna, Ohio with Russell Lieb, Sidney Clay, and Brad Clouse officiating. Burial will be in New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the New Vienna Church of Christ. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Community Care Hospice, P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, Ohio 45177 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
