Susan Kay Swallow Tapp Donahue, 65, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away 10:10 AM, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her residence after a long illness. Her husband, Patrick Donahue, is preceded in death. She is survived by her best friend and partner Ian Jarvie. She was born September 6, 1945 in Centerville, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Hunter Swallow. A longtime artist and crafter, she was best known for her teddy bears and Father Christmases. She loved to paint, garden, read, and be with family and friends. In addition to her partner, she is survived by a daughter, Kim Tapp; a son, Tom (Julie) Tapp; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Ronnie (Phyllis) Swallow and Priscilla Starkey; three grandchildren, Josh Tapp, Jessica Tapp, and Jacob Siemer; and a great grandchild, Madison Rose Tapp. In addition to her husband and parents, a sister, Karen Morgan, is preceded in death. Ms. Donahue will be cremated. No services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 11113 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242-1817.
