WAYNE GREGORY Obituary

Wayne Gregory, 98, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away 11:00 AM, Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Cape May Retirement Village. His wife, Betty Jane Curtis Gregory, survives. They were married January 9, 1940. Mr. Gregory was born November 16, 1916 in Clinton County, Ohio, son of the late Carl and Ruth Lane Gregory. He was a graduate of Reesville High School and attended Wilmington College. Mr. Gregory was a lifelong farmer. He was an active member of the Church of Christ throughout his life. In addition to his wife, Mr. Gregory is survived by three sons, Keith Gregory of Solana Beach, California, Marvin Gregory of Upper Arlington, Ohio, and Jay Gregory of Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Phillip Gregory, and a brother, Harold "Buzz" Gregory. A celebration of Mr. Gregory's life will be held 7:00 PM, Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Wilmington Church of Christ, 909 W. Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Dale McCamish officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in New Antioch Cemetery.
