Thank you for your kind words.
Mrs. Hart was my business teacher in high school. She was not only a great teacher but a wonderful, caring person. What success I had in the business world, I owed to her dedication and knowledge. She always found time to come to our class reunions to see how her past students were doing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Thank you for your kind words. She really did care about her students.
l had great respect for Mrs Hart”Libby”as my business teacher Typing and shorthand and later years of her attending our class reunions. She told me at one of them how proud she was of me for the person I became. That meant a lot to me. May she Rest In Peace. Virgene Plymire Mallonee, WHS class of 1959

Sorry to hear of her passing. She was one of my teachers.
Thank you for your kind words.
What a lady she was! So many of us owe so much to this lady who gave so much to her students. She tried to instill in us so many things about life in general, how to have goals and work hard to achieve them, how to contribute and be a part of society and how to survive in it. Every day of my life, I apply something I learned from her in her classes. She was a real classy lady! We need more people like Mrs. Hart in this world.
Wow! So nice to hear! Thank you so much.
Mrs. Hart was the most influential teacher I ever had in high school. She was encouraging and pushed me to be my best. She helped me develop strong office skills that guaranteed me a secure, good paying “secretarial job” right out of high school that quickly led to my acceptance to college. She changed my life. I’m grateful to have known her.
Thank you for such a nice tribute!
RIP Mrs. Hart you were a very dignified Lady and educator I learned so many life long skills in all your classes. I spent 4 periods everyday my senior year in your classes what a great influence and boy did I learn to type fast. I will certainly remember you and thank you for coming to my graduation and wedding you were one of a kind. God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I’m sorry to have missed visitation and the funeral as we were visiting family in Georgia. I was in Libbly’s home room and took only personal typing. Libby will always be remembered as a friendly person through all the years after 1954!
Thank you for your kind words.
Libby was Mrs. Hart to me when she taught me typing and shorthand in the late 1950’s. She was a great teacher and very patient when working with all of her students. After I retired from education and knew her as members of the Clinton County Retired Teachers she told me to call her Libby and not Mrs. Hart and I of course did what she requested. I always remember how well dressed she always was during her lifetime. My father who ran a Wilmington business always contacted her when he needed to employee a new staff member because he said she would always recommend only the best of her students.
She will be missed and always remembered by her former students and friends.
