CAROLYN SPURLOCK

Carolyn Spurlock, 70, of New Vienna passed away peacefully February 1, 2017 at the Laurels of Hillsboro. Her husband of 52 years, Paul Spurlock, survives. Mrs. Spurlock was born April 24, 1946 in New Vienna, Ohio, daughter of the late Roy and Genette Palmer Frump. She was a longtime employee of Wells Manufacturing. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Spurlock is survived by a son, Jesse (Jenny) Spurlock of Sabina, Ohio; a daughter, Tina (Todd) Parker of Hillsboro, Ohio; six grandchildren, Allara Spurlock, Cade Spurlock, Jensen Spurlock, Brittany Frump, Scott Frump, Brendon Anders, and many other grandchildren at heart; a special niece, Stephanie Mann; her best friend, Ethel Workman; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, a son, Gary "Bud" Frump; a daughter, Paula Spurlock; four brothers, and two sisters, are preceded in death. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, February 6, 2017 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home, 64 S. South Street New Vienna, Ohio with Larry Spurlock officiating. Burial will be in New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Monday, February 6, 2017 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home. Friends are invited to join the family at Highland Park, Highland, Ohio for a fellowship immediately following the burial.
