CATHY WILLIAMS

Cathy Williams, 64, of New Vienna, Ohio died 4:18 PM, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her residence. Her husband, Donald J. Williams, survives. They were married June 14, 1969. Mrs. Williams was born May 7, 1949 in Paintsville, Kentucky, daughter of Leonidas and Clara Williams Burchett of Medway, Ohio. She graduated cum laude from Wilmington College. Mrs. Williams worked as a logistics coach at Ferno Washington Inc. for 37 years. She was also on the communications team at Ferno Washington, which created "Operation Santa" for underprivileged children. For her dedication to Operation Santa, the program was renamed "Cathy's Kids" in her honor following her retirement. She was a member of the New Vienna Church of Christ. She was a dual member of the Order of the Eastern Star New Vienna Chapter 327 and Leesburg Chapter 57. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Williams is survived by a son, Erik Lee Williams of Kansas City, Missouri; a daughter, Natalie (David) Youd of New Vienna, Ohio; two brothers, Gregory (Alison) Burchett of New Carlisle, Ohio and Keith (Debbie) Burchett of South Vienna, Ohio; a sister, Theresa (Victor) Anderson of Nashville, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Ethan Jones and Meagan Jones. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, July 19, 2013 at the New Vienna Church of Christ, 148 West Street, New Vienna, Ohio with Brad Clouse officiating. Burial will be in New Antioch Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the New Vienna Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Cathy's Kids, a three county charity for underprivileged children, 70 Weil Way, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
