CORINNE MURPHY Obituary

Corinne Murphy, 66, of New Vienna, Ohio died 5:40 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2011. Her husband, Edward Lee Murphy, preceded her in death. Mrs. Murphy was born September 2, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Carl Leonard Guthrie and Louellie Roseta Burton Guthrie. She was a member of the Mount Olive Church of Christ. Mrs. Murphy is survived by a son, Bryan Murphy of Martinsville, Ohio; three daughters, Joyce Gregory of New Vienna, Ohio, Claudia Wiederhold of New Vienna, Ohio, and Geraldine Murphy; two sisters, Etta Hammons of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dorothy Guthrie of New Vienna, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, a son, Leonard Murphy, is preceded in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, April 8, 2011 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home, 64 S. South Street, New Vienna, Ohio with Russell Lieb officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Friday, April 8, 2011 at the L.
