HARRIETT STANFORTH Obituary

Harriett W. South Stanforth, 71, of Port William, Ohio died at 8:25 PM Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born January 17, 1947 in Lebanon, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Ponds Mullen. Harriett retired from Randall Textron Co. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in all sports, watching birds, and going to the casinos. She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Anna) South, Albert Wesley South, Neil (Tonyna) South, Andrew Stanforth, and Jason Merkle who she raised as a son; step daughters Mary Jo and Donna Mullen; sisters Debbie Roehrich, and Alice Feuquay; a brother Harry Mullen; six grandchildren; two step granddaughters; and one great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Bryant, Rose Singleton, Jenny Hatter and Carol Mullen. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, May 14, 2018 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Aaron Faucett officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday, May 14, 2018 at Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
