Linda Fay Hottinger Harris, 54, of New Vienna, Ohio died 3:30 PM, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She is survived by her former spouse and companion, David Harris of New Vienna, Ohio. She was born July 17, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late David Lee Rasnic and Amanda Justine Bishop Rasnic. She had formerly worked at Kurz-Kasch and Shell in Wilmington, Ohio. She had served as an ambassador for Da Vita Dialysis Center in Wilmington.
In addition to her companion she is survived by a son, Shawn (Allison) Meyer of Sabina, Ohio; a daughter, Stephanie Myer Lewis of Peebles, Ohio; three brothers, Kenith Rasnic of Ross County, Ohio, Terry Rasnic of Ross County, Ohio, and Garry (Ellie) Rasnic of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister, Audrey (Michael) Gudorf of Adams County, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Diana Thomas of Martinsville, Ohio and Debbie Stone of Martinsville, Ohio; grandchildren, Katlyn Meyer, Hollie Meyer, Sadie Lewis, David Lewis, Melanie Harris, Ethan Harris, Haley Harris, Annica Harris, and Benjamin Harris; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents, a sister-in-law, Nenita Rasnic, is preceded in death.
The family would like to thank Da Vita Dialysis Center in Wilmington for all of the care they provided.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177 to assist with funeral expenses.
