MARION LUECKING Obituary

Marion Luecking, 79, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Continental Manor Nursing Home. Her husband, William A. Luecking Jr., preceded her in death February 14, 2009. They were married August 20, 1960. Mrs. Luecking was born April 25, 1939 in Warwick, Rhode Island, daughter of the late James and Florence Harrop Clifford. She was a graduate of Toms River High School in New Jersey and a member of the American Legion Post 49 Auxiliary, the DAV Auxiliary in Virginia Beach, and the Episcopalian Church. Mrs. Luecking is survived by two daughters, Gretchen (Richard) James of Wilmington, Ohio and Heidi (Gregory) Jackson of Newark, Ohio; a son, William A. Luecking III of Wilmington, Ohio; two grandchildren, Randy (Adrienne) James and Christopher (Jacquelynne) Luecking; and three great grandchildren, Skylar James, Annika James, and Oliver Luecking. In addition to her husband and parents, a granddaughter, Heather James, is preceded in death. A graveside service will be held at 1:45 PM, Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heather's Hope, P.O. Box 423, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
