Martha Louise Browning, 88, of Wilmington, Ohio died 9:32 AM, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Autumn Years Nursing Center. Her husband, Orville Thomas “Tom” Browning Sr. preceded her in death July 14, 2010. They were married June 7, 1942. Mrs. Browning was born November 30, 1924 in Springfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Kiger Fields. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School. She was a member of the Eagles and an avid bowler for many years.
Mrs. Browning is survived by a son, Tom (Beverly) Browning of Wilmington, Ohio; five daughters, Sandy Young of Wilmington, Ohio, Diana (Ray) Hazelbaker of Wilmington, Ohio, Linda Lockhart of Wilmington, Ohio, Annette (Steve) Cramton of Wilmington, Ohio, and Janette Murphy of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister, Ruth Camp of Sabina, Ohio; and 89 grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, five brothers, Gene Fields, Bob Fields, Harold Fields, Francis Fields, and Bill Fields, a sister, Norma Myers, two grandchildren, Jason Hensley and Danny Hazelbaker, and two great grandchildren, Ronald L. Lockhart Jr. and Skye Cline, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
