RUSSELL GAMMELL

Russell Gammell, 82, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. His wife, Pat Gammell, preceded him in death May 17, 1999. They were married June 10, 1956. He was born October 30, 1935 in Clinton County, Ohio, son of the late Leslie Gammell and Hazel Kerr Gammell. He was a 1953 graduate of Martinsville High School. Mr. Gammell retired from Cincinnati Milacron after a 35-year career. He was a member of the Martinsville Lions Club and the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Lodge. He had attended the Martinsville Church of Christ. Mr. Gammell is survived by two sons, Mark (Tina) Gammell of Madison, Alabama and Shane (Heather) Gammell of Cuba, Ohio; a daughter, Tara Gammell (Kevin) Dunn of Wilmington, Ohio; five grandchildren, Tyler Gammell, Zach Dunn, Josh Dunn, Isabella Gammell, and Olivia Gammell; and three great-grandchildren, Caius Dunn, Lavender Dunn, and Liam Dunn. In addition to his wife and parents, two sisters, Juanita Gibson and Verena Mongold, are preceded in death. The funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Dan Mayo officiating. Burial will be in Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
