RUTH LANSING Obituary

Ruth Lansing, 73, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Her husband, Arnold "Arnie" Lansing, preceded her in death April 10, 2015. They were married March 6, 1965. Mrs. Lansing was born November 18, 1945 in Clinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Hubert and Orba Carey Bullen. Early in her career, Mrs. Lansing worked as a respiratory therapist at Clinton Memorial Hospital and as a secretary at the Wilmington Friends Meeting. She retired from the National Bank and Trust in Wilmington where she worked in the human resource department and served as the branch manager. After retirement, she was a longtime volunteer at the Clinton Memorial Hospital gift shop. She was a member of the Wilmington Friends Meeting. She is survived by her children, Travis (Jeni) Lansing of Wilmington, Ohio, Rhonda (Keith) Rose of Hilliard, Ohio, Kim (Billy Davis) Lansing of Xenia, Ohio, Angelia (Rocky) Rollins of Maryland, and Chad (Christy) Lansing of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Larry (Phyllis) Bullen of Milford, Ohio; five sisters, Barbara Bullen of Florida, Brenda (Gene) Fawley of Hillsboro, Ohio, Nancy Garner of Hillsboro, Ohio, Rosemary (Tom) Brammell of Columbus, Ohio, and Kate English of Columbus, Ohio; and her beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kevin, Austin, Morgan, Wade, Emily, Chase, Chloe, and Charlotte. In addition to her husband and parents, one sister and four brothers are preceded in death. Services will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Sunday, January 13 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth's memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301 or the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
