Anna Louise Mahaffey, 90, of Wilmington, Ohio died 4:48 AM, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at her residence. She was born October 20, 1922 in Sinking Springs, Ohio, daughter of the late Charlie and Vina Tolle George.
She had worked as waitress a several restaurants. She had also worked at Organs Jewelry Store in Wilmington and Keller’s Drug Store. She had been a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ruth Adams, Yvonne LeVan, and Judi Creeger; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles (Clida) Mahaffey; a brother, Tommie George; a sister-in-law, Helen George; seven grandchildren, Tony (Barb) Adams, Vickie (Darrell) Warnock, Angie (Bill) Tillinghast, Chris (Stacy) Cook, Jason (Elaine) Creeger, Emmalee Whitaker, and Lori (Brian) Cassner; 13 great grandchildren, Shawn (Michelle) Adams, Amanda (Chris) Branham, Allison Adams, Courtney Adams, Josh (Molly) Warnock, Tyler (Savannah) Warnock, Hilary Andes, Alexy Cook, Sophia Cook, Caroline Whitaker, Amy Whitaker, Natalie Whitaker, and William Cassner; and eight great-great grandchildren, Zane Adams, McKenzie Adams, Cohen Adams, Broderick Adams, Gavin Henson, Mason Warnock, Colton Warnock, and Carter Warnock.
In addition to her parents, a son-in-law, David Adams, a brother, Georgie George, a sister-in-law, Frances George, and two grandchildren, Kimberly Adams and Davey Adams, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
