Jeremiah “JD” DeLawder, 35, of Moraine, Ohio died Monday, June 12, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash. His wife, Sandy DeLawder, survives. They were married June 27, 2008. Mr. DeLawder was born March 6, 1982 in Dallas, Texas, son of Linda DeLawder of Wilmington, Ohio and the late Danny DeLawder.
Mr. DeLawder served in the U.S. Army for nine years and completed three tours of duty in Iraq. He was currently working as an STNA at Trinity Nursing Home in Beavercreek. JD had recently finished his college education at American National University and was scheduled to graduate June 24, 2017 as a surgical technician. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing his guitar.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. DeLawder is survived by his six-year-old son, Johnny DeLawder and his four-year-old son, Justin DeLawder; a sister, Elizabeth Lynch; grandparents, Shirley & Paul Filson, Linda Blanton, and Howard DeLawder; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Paul Blanton and Lucille DeLawder.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Fifth Third Bank location to establish a trust fund for his children.
